Repose on our big meadow behind the house, touching the banks of the Gers-river.

We dispose at present of 5 large, individually furnished guest-rooms, each with its own shower and separate WC. There is also a large dining-room and a salon with big fire-place where you can retire for having a good sherry after your meal.



PyrénéesIn this beautiful surrounding with it's ideal climate you will find complete peace and relaxation (autumn until January end early summer from mal - in high summer there is usually a gentle breeze, not to be confused with 'Föhn' or 'Mistral'). The valley of the Gers offers opportunities for many types of walks or tours by bicycle *‚ as well as a good fishing for those who are keen.

* Bicycles are available gratuitously for our guests.

There are good possibilities for excursions to many interesting places in the neighbourhood or in the near distance:

Castile St_Bertrand de Comminges
  • The Pyrénées, distinguished mountain range with its wonderful scenery, unique waterfalls, intact forests - approximately one hour by car can be explored in summer and winter (November to end of march - skiing facilities both: downhill and Langlauf)


  • Spain (a good hour drive)


  • The Mediterranean, Atlantic coast can be reached by car in 2 - 2,5 hours.


  • Organized city tours are possible in Pau, Tarbes, Auch (birthplace of the musketeer d'Artagnan )‚ Toulouse (the 'Ville rose'), Lourdes (very well-known city for pilgrims)


  • As well as many caves, grottos, castiles and excavation sites.

    In the near vicinity:

  • Tennis-court, little pool and horse-riding in the village (a 10 minutes walk)


  • Swimming in a lake (15 minutes drive)


  • Local air-strip from where trips and paragliding can be arranged (10 minutes walk)


  • 18-holes-golf-course (20 minutes drive) and 5 other courses within a radius of 1 hour by car


  • And finally worth a visit are the local markets in the villages and small towns in the neighbourhood
